Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Freight Broker located in Crown Point, IN, with some work from home acceptable. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight brokerage tasks, providing excellent customer service, handling dispatching activities, and managing accounts. Daily tasks include tracking shipments, negotiating with carriers, coordinating logistics, and communicating proactively with customers and partners to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage skills
• Customer Service and Dispatching experience
• Account Management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Knowledge of logistics software and industry regulations
• Experience in logistics or transportation industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
