Summary :

Skagit Regional Health is actively seeking a Palliative Care physician to join our established inpatient Palliative Care service in Mount Vernon, Washington. Highlights :

  • Join an established and well-supported interdisciplinary inpatient team with two (2) physicians and one (1) ARNP. Potential opportunity to expand to provide outpatient services in the future.
  • This position will focus on performing inpatient palliative care consultations and provide compassionate care to our patients and family members.
  • Enjoy a Monday-Friday, daytime schedule with no night or weekend coverage.
  • Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from our own SRH Residency Programs.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an ACGME accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program. Completion of Palliative Care fellowship program highly preferred.
  • Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified.
  • Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before starting.
  • The ideal candidate will place a priority on improving lives through compassionate and innovative healthcare and focus on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

 

Compensation and Benefits :
