We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering timely, accurate, and engaging local and regional news —and bringing the excitement of high school sports to life. Responsibilities include: Gathering, writing, and editing local and regional news and sports stories Covering community meetings and events Anchoring and producing newscasts and sportscasts Providing play-by-play coverage of high school football, volleyball, and basketball Creating content for digital and social media platforms Qualifications: Strong news writing skills Proficiency in digital and social media platforms Previous news and play-by-play sports experience preferred, video skills a plus About Us: KBRY is owned by the Nebraska Rural Radio Association —the nation’s only farmer- and rancher-owned radio group.
