Requirements: 2+ years of residential or commercial property management experience in lease negotiation and administration. A minimum of one year experience in a customer service-related industry and one year residential leasing experience, OR a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience is preferred. Applicants for the job must have a car and be willing to visit properties as needed. A California real estate license is Required. Experience using property management software AppFolio or a similar property management software. Spanish speaking is a plus. Ability to multitask and prioritize Job Responsibilities:The job of the Leasing Agent will include working with a team and individually on daily tasks and annual projects related to property management, leasing, and maintenance, including, but not limited to: Leasing and Contractual Agreements: Conducting showings, reviewing applications, and drafting leases. Property Inspections Tenant Move-in/Move-out. Rental Evaluations & Marketing Campaigns Posting Notices Rent Collections: Monthly rent receivables. Delinquencies: Collecting past due rents, maintaining communication with tenants and landlords Maintenance/Repairs/Remodeling: Ensuring work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion and communicated regularly to tenant and landlord Resolving Tenant Complaints: Addressing and resolving tenant issues. Special Projects: Assisting with various projects as needed. Direct Assistance: Supporting the Manager and President directly.
