Job Summary

As the Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure across Cisco and Arista platforms, while supporting troubleshooting, upgrades, and documentation to ensure reliable wired and wireless connectivity.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in enterprise networking technologies and a strong desire to grow within a fast-paced, technically diverse environment. This opportunity is a salaried, full-time position that is onsite in Fort Myers, FL.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches running Catalyst IOS, CATOS, and NXOS

  • Support Cisco wireless infrastructure, including LAN controllers and Cisco Prime Infrastructure

  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues across wired and wireless environments

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to manage Arista switches, Arista Access Points, and Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP)

  • Implement and maintain VPN solutions, including client access and site-to-site configurations

  • Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and documentation efforts

  • Respond to network-related incidents and service requests in a timely and professional manner

  • Maintain accurate network diagrams and inventory records


What You’ll Need
Required:

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (Catalyst IOS, CATOS, NXOS)

  • Familiarity with Cisco wireless solutions, LAN controllers, and Cisco Prime Infrastructure

  • Exposure to Arista networking equipment and management platforms (CVP preferred)

  • Understanding of VPN technologies and protocols (IPSec, SSL, etc.)

  • Ability to troubleshoot Layer 2/3 network issues

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies


Preferred:

  • Associate-level certifications such as Cisco CCNA or Arista ACE

  • Hands-on lab or internship experience in enterprise networking environments

  • Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
