Role summary

As Salesforce Administrator, you will lead the way in Salesforce becoming Valors single source of truth! You will meet with the C-Suite and Directors for strategic planning to create custom solutions for unique business needs. You will lead a team of Salesforce professionals to bring these custom solutions to life. Valor currently uses Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Data Cloud.

Responsibilities
  • All aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules, troubleshooting
  • Administer and maintain our Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, reports, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain custom solutions using Salesforce tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Apex.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations.
  • Conduct data quality and integrity checks, and perform data migrations and uploads.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend new features and enhancements aligned with business goals.
  • Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
  • Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
  • DevOps/release management experience
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features
  • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Proactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, health check, and Optimizer
Qualifications and Background

Required:

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least five years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.

Preferred:

  • Additional Salesforce certifications
  • Experience with Tableau and Agent Force
