Job Description

Cobaltix is looking for a senior technology consultant with experience working directly with clients, planning and implementing major technology projects. Time management and excellent communication are key. Our team IS our reputation, and clients rely on us, so learning on the job is a constant.

Starting pay is $140k (Full-time), with $10k signing bonus, plus generous monthly bonus. This is a local role, and it is not a contract position.

These are the technology skills that are required:

• Advanced Windows Server (on-premises and cloud) and Active Directory management and troubleshooting
• Azure architecture, migrations, and troubleshooting (cloud-only and hybrid environments)
• Advanced Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 identity management, including MFA, SSO, and Entra Identity Governance
• Microsoft 365 architecture, administration, and security, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
• Exchange Server and mail flow architecture, administration, and troubleshooting, including enterprise mail security
• Intune, AutoPilot, and JAMF device management and deployment
• Advanced PowerShell and Graph API scripting; Bash and Python scripting
• Hyper-V, VMware, and Veeam backup and disaster recovery planning
• Networking experience with Meraki and Palo Alto solutions

Real experience, not just book learning or certs. Other experience (Linux, storage, distributed environments) is a plus, too.

If you are still early in your career and only have basic skills, we post sometimes for junior jobs, but this isnt that. Likewise, Sales Engineers and Project Managers wont be a match for this position either.
