Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a CO or compact license and Cath Lab experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in an acute care Cardiac Cath Lab setting
  • Unit includes 2 suites and manages a combination of cardiac cath and interventional radiology cases
  • Typical patient diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemakers as well as IR patients
  • Average of 4 cases per day
  • RNs work 4x9 hour day shifts weekly with required call
  • Weeknight call required approximately 10 times per month
  • Call every third weekend and holiday call shared among staff
  • 30-minute call response time is mandatory
  • Epic EMR is used; MacLab and Siemens equipment utilized
  • Unit-specific orientation is provided during the week after initial CSH orientation
  • Floating is not required to other facilities
  • Responsible for circulating and monitoring cases, pre and post procedure management, and conducting patient calls
  • Cardiologist in-house during the day and on-call overnight
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Holiday call coverage is shared among the staff, with one major summer and one major winter holiday anticipated
  • Travelers may not have been employed by any CommonSpirit facility within the past year
  • Must be available and in state for orientation week even if first day modules are remote

  • Active CO or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
  • Minimum of 2 years' RN experience required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Cath Lab experience required; IR experience or willingness to learn is preferred
  • Ability to provide a copy of driver's license
  • Must supply two professional references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years
  • Must live at least 60 miles from the facility per radius rule
